Christmas Gifts A Day Early...Thank You Misters FedEx and UPS Delivery Guys....

So I have some of the best friends on this planet. They know me so well. They know that I'm not big on surprises so I don't mind knowing the ending to movies or what a gift is before it is given...in fact I would prefer to know beforehand (I may have already gotten the item myself). So the gifts I usually receive are gift cards... which I LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!
Getting back to my epic friends...they know my preferred method of shopping...internet. And when you do as much internet shopping as I do, then you have created wish lists on just about every site. THEY BOUGHT MY WISH LISTS!!!(After sending me threatening texts not to buy anything online until Christmas. Yes, threatening! Do you understand what kind of sales are going on right now?)

This is just some of the stuff...LOVE IT!!!
THANK YOU!!!

Fried Pie!!!!!!!

This is just one of those things from your childhood that you never forget and wish you could make. And the days your mom decides to make those special treats, you just know that God is smiling down on you that day. I can't explain how stoked my brothers, sister and I were to get these pies growing up.
So last Saturday, after convincing my mom to scale down her recipe for Fried Pies to 1 serving (a recipe that she totally made up and has never written down), I have successfully made (the dough from scratch) and cooked a Fried Pie. Now whether I'll be able to make it again is a different story. Ha.

At Animal Urgent Care with my mom...Jade got hit by a car...

Update: She has a broken pelvis...so a few weeks of no walking around and the meds should take care of it. Thank God!

Just a few things that I would love to have join my closet this season....

1. Black Ribbed Trim Sweater Dress - Avenue
2. Infinity Knit Scarf - Taylor House (or anywhere else)
3. Tall Buckle Boots - Deb
4. Stripe Knit Hat - Deb

PS. I LOVE after Christmas gifts...

Christmas Party...Systel-style

Heading to Pinehurst from Lumberton...the Sock Sale was a success despite not getting any boxes.
Pinehurst Resort

Killed some time before check-in by crising the shops...it just starts dumping snow all of a sudden.
Stoked on the room...the prices for the mini bar crap were insane...$5.00 for a bottle of water?!?!?
In Leslie's room before heading down to the party...
In the Grand Ballroom...dinner.
Aww...you gotta love them (some will get this and most won't)...
Fancy, huh?
